Giulio Bonasera is a freelance illustrator, animator, graphic artist, visual storyteller.

His work has appeared in the pages of The New York Times, Harper’s, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, GQ, The Economist, among the others and has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Communication Arts Magazine, 3×3 Magazine.

Morphing iconic signs in a playful combination of elements, he likes to keep his compositions tied to a stylized and minimal approach, creating conceptual images in a graphic, minimal, negative-spaced style.

Since graduating at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, he continued to balance his practice between commissioned projects and self-driven work, crafting a personal visual language that blends diverse influences into a distinctive voice.
